Educational Qualifications

• For Posts in Levels 2 & 3: Matriculation with 12th Class Pass (+2 Stage).
•  For Posts in Levels 4 & 5: Graduation (Bachelor's Degree).

• Level-1: Represented the Country in any of Category-C – C Championships / Events (OR) At least 3rd Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category) (OR) Represented a State or equivalent Unit, except in Marathon and Cross Country, with at least 8th position in Senior National Championships only.
• Level 2 & 3: Represented the Country in any of the Category – ‘B' Championships/ events. (OR) At least 3rd position in any of the Category-'C Championships/events (OR) At least 3rd position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships (OR) At least 3rd Position in National Games organized under the Aegis of Indian Olympic Association. (OR) At least 3rd Position in All India Inter University Championships organized under the Aegis of Association of Indian Universities (OR) First position in Federation Cup Championship (Senior Category).

• Level 4 & 5: Represented the Country in Olympic Games (Category- 'A') (OR) At least 3rd position in any of the Category - B' Championships/events.

Age Limit

• Between 18 and 25 years as of 1st January 2024.
  Born Between 2nd January 1999 and 1st January 2006 (Both dates inclusive).
• No age relaxation shall be permissible.
• The date of reckoning age shall be 1st January 2024.

Southern Railway Sports Quota Recruitment Level 2 to 5 vacancy post Salary

• Level 1: ₹ 18,000/- per month
• Level 2: ₹ 19,900/- per month
• Level 3: ₹ 21,700/- per month
• Level 4: ₹ 25,500/- per month
• Level 5: ₹ 29,200/- per month

Selection Process

• The selection process takes place in stages as per the marking system:

1. For Game Skills, Physical Fitness, and Coach’s observation during trials- 40 Marks

2. Assessment of recognized sports achievements as per norms- 50 Marks

3. Educational Qualification- 10 Marks

• Total of 100 Marks.
