The Mist by Stephen King is a mystery, thriller, and fiction novel, which describes the story of a group of people trapped down in the store and there is no easy way to get back. Stephen King is the author of this classy novel. In a summer morning, there comes the heavy storm which takes down the confidant of people to live anymore, David Drayton and his son Billy is also with them. Later on, their neighbour friend Brent Norton also joins them with the bunch of people and now they are the heading towards the grocery store to save their self from the freaking storm. When they enter the store, there is no way out for them. Outside of the store, there is a deadly storm and inside death is also waiting for them. There is a religious zealot, whose name is Mrs. Carmody reveals some of the bitter truth of nature. She begins to play with of fears of people and says this is the punishment from God for our sins. Now, he needs some kind of sacrifice from us. The people start looking at her, she says the sacrifice from two groups one who believe and one who doesn’t believe. This is uncomfortable for David, he runs away from the store with his boy but what he sees outside is much worse than inside.
