The Chef is a bit too talkative in the early chapters, bragging just a bit too much in regards to his abilities in the kitchen. James Patterson is the author of this book. James writing is always fast-paced and gathers his reader’s interest immediately from the start of the book. The book begins with an assassination and the sniper’s bullet strikes a target in the heart of DC. The Secret Service and the FBI deploy as well in the race to find the person responsible.  The inclusion of real-life individuals is an excellent tool that gives the story authenticity. The tradition continues with a gripping storyline and well-developed characters that we have come to know and love. Alex is a complex character battling bad guys in the midst of life with his vulnerable family. The book concept is not too far fetched in this political climate. The fast pace of the storyline keeps you on edge. The complex plot is frighteningly believable. This one will definitely keep you intrigued and engaged. The characters are amazing and the plot is well thought out. The chemistry between them is strong and tangible. The plot is exciting fascinating and well written. There are many twists and turns in the storyline, all unexpected. The whole book is based on the murderer and serial killer. We would highly recommend this book for anyone who is interested in murderer books.
