Captive Ecstasy is the fiction, romantic, thriller and history novel which plot the story of an Abnaki Indian who kidnapped a beautiful girl from town. Elaine Barbieri is the author of this classic novel. Amanda is the main protagonist of the novel. In 1757, when India and French troops are against each other. Both nations wanted to destroy each other and at that time Fort William Henry is get attacked by French troops. They are giving their best to enemies and risk everything which they have. Amanda is found injured and no one is there to rescue her at the fort of France. Adam Carstairs is a soldier and trapper who rescues Amanda and take her back to the camp. Here she came to know two people and they are so caring for her. Robert Handley an American soldier and Adam are doing great for her. Adam is the first who falls in love with Amanda but he does not tell her. One day, she got kidnapped by an Abnaki Indian. He took her into weird place but later on, Amanda fall in love with him and they are no more strangers. His name was Chinese and his younger brother also loves Amanda. Chingue and Amanda married after few months and become parents. Amanda remains in contact with her old friends Adam, Suckahokus, and Robert at different points.
