In the meantime, she makes friends in the school and starts crushing on Caleb. This is definitely more than meets the eye and nothing and no one is what they seem. Our MC comes from a horrible background and finally escapes it. It finally seems like she will be getting a better life and a bright future. But did she trade one prison for another?
