Drop Out And Get Schooled

“Drop Out And Get Schooled: The Case For Thinking Twice About College” is an important book about college education. Patrick Bet David is the author of this book. The purpose of this book is to start an important dialogue about college education. It is not a book that declares that higher education is a terrible thing. Many professions require it, but Patrick believes education can and does take place in many forms. As a college dropout and an autodidact, he read over 1,200 books in the last 15 years and believe there are many paths we can take to get educated and do great things. In this book, there are two authors, one is a self-educated entrepreneur and the second has a couple college degrees. Both give lectures. Both are successful business people. And they ask this question: Is college worth it? And is it for everybody? Depending on whether you went to college or not, this book can be difficult to view objectively. However, this book helps process the decision if college is right for you.

The President Is Missing

The President Is Missing by James Patterson, Bill Clinton is a great novel about American history. It sheds a stunning light upon the inner workings and vulnerabilities of our nation. Filled with information that only a former Commander-in-Chief could know, this is the most authentic, terrifying novel to come along in many years. It is brilliantly and beautifully written with drama, suspense, and insight that only a few people in this world can have. It is a thick book, over 500 pages and 100+ chapters that will keep you reading page after page, chapter after chapter. It feels solid in your hand and your lap. It will keep you entertained for hours, if not days. Regardless of who wrote the book, if you love a great novel of suspense with historical context, if you are a political junkie who enjoys novels, if you like to binge on exciting drama and suspense, then you would probably enjoy reading this book.

Vector Mechanics for Engineers: Statics and Dynamics 11th Edition PDF

“Vector Mechanics for Engineers: Statics and Dynamics 11th Edition” helps the student to analyze problems in a simple and logical manner, and then to apply basic principles to their solutions. Ferdinand P. Beer, E. Russell Johnston Jr., David Mazurek, Phillip J. Cornwell, and Brian Self are the guys behind this book. It does provide some examples to explain the concepts. Just note that those are not step by step guides to solve all the problems because well that wouldn’t be useful in engineering. It introduces the topics, goes over the derivation of formulas then explains how to apply the formulas. But in the exercises, you need to figure out how and which formula to use. Because setting up a problem promotes critical thinking and problem-solving skills which this book does a good job at. In short, this book is written so well, if you are getting this to teach yourself or for an online class, it’s the best without an instructor available.
