“The American People: Creating a Nation and a Society: Concise Edition, Volume 1 (8th Edition)” is a great book that examines U.S. history. Gary B Nash, Julie Roy Jeffrey, John R. Howe, Allan M. Winkler, Charlene Mires, Peter J. Frederick, and Carla Gardina Pestana are the authors of this history book. Gary B Nash received his Ph.D. from Princeton University. He is currently Director of the National Center for History in the Schools at the University of California, where he teaches colonial and revolutionary American history. In this history book, authors examine U.S. history through the experiences of diverse Americans, ordinary and extraordinary. They explore the complex lives of Americans of all national origins and cultural backgrounds, in all regions of the country. Additionally, they explore how they live and all levels of society, how they behave with other peoples and relatives. The American People is an enlightening book for all readers, so it engages all the reader from start to end of the page. All in all, The American People is a wonderful history book.
